Der Bundesrat hat die deutliche Erhöhung des Bürgergelds im kommenden Jahr gebilligt. Die Länderkammer stimmte einer entsprechenden Verordnung der Bundesregierung am Freitag zu. Damit kann die Anhebung des Bürgergelds zur Sicherung des Existenzminimums um rund zwölf Prozent wie geplant zum 1. Januar in Kraft treten. Die Bundesländer haben die Bundesregierung aufgefordert, Sonderregeln für den erleichterten Bau von Flüchtlingsunterkünften vorzeitig zu verlängern. Sogenannte non-binäre Personen, die sich weder als Mann noch als Frau fühlen, haben keinen Anspruch auf geschlechtsangleichende Operationen auf Kosten der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung. Vergütung während Studium: Bund macht Pflegeausbildung attraktiver
Pflege-Studierende sollen künftig für die gesamte Dauer ihres Studiums eine "angemessene Vergütung" erhalten. Dies beschloss der Bundestag am Donnerstag. Zudem sollen Pflege-Abschlüsse aus dem Ausland leichter anerkannt werden, um ausländischen Fachkräften eine Beschäftigung zu ermöglichen.
