Staatsdefizit in ersten drei Quartalen 2023 deutlich gestiegen
Das Gesamtdefizit des deutschen Staats hat sich in den ersten drei Quartalen des vergangenen Jahres auf 91,5 Milliarden Euro erhöht. Das waren 25,8 Milliarden Euro mehr als im Vergleichszeitraum des Vorjahrs 2022, wie das Statistische Bundesamt am Donnerstag in Wiesbaden mitteilte. 2022 historisch hohe Nettozuwanderung nach Deutschland - 2,7 Millionen Einwanderer

Die Bundesregierung will bei der Finanzierung der Wiederaufbauhilfen für das Ahrtal und andere vom Hochwasser 2021 betroffenen Gebiete offensichtlich 2024 ohne neue Schulden auskommen. Das geht aus der Vorlage des Bundesfinanzministeriums für die sogenannte Bereinigungssitzung des Bundestags-Haushaltsausschusses hervor, die am Mittwoch in Berlin bekannt wurde.
