Vertreter der französischen Landwirte haben die protestierenden Bauern im Land nach Zugeständnissen durch die Regierung aufgerufen, ihre Blockadeaktionen einzustellen. Die Mobilisierung der Landwirte gehe weiter, aber angesichts der Ankündigungen "sollten wir unsere Aktionsformen ändern", erklärten der Bauernverband und die Vereinigung der Jungbauern am Donnerstag. Pistorius schließt Neuordnung des Verteidigungsministeriums ab
Bundesverteidigungsminister Boris Pistorius (SPD) hat die angekündigte Neuordnung seines Ressorts umgesetzt. Seit Donnerstag habe das Verteidigungsministerium seine neue Struktur, teilte eine Sprecherin auf Anfrage mit. Buschmann: Größte Gefahr für Demokratie geht von Rechtsextremismus aus
Bundesjustizminister Marco Buschmann (FDP) sieht die Demokratie vor allem als bedroht von rechts an. US-Militär schießt iranische Drohnen ab und zerstört Huthi-Drohnen im Jemen
Die US-Streitkräfte haben nach eigenen Angaben über dem Golf von Aden drei iranische Drohnen abgeschossen und im Jemen zehn Drohnen der von Teheran unterstützten Huthi-Rebellen zerstört. Das für den Nahen Osten zuständige US-Regionalkommando Central Command (Centcom) erklärte im Kurzbotschaftendienst X, die iranischen Drohnen seien am Mittwochabend um 21.10 Uhr Ortszeit vom US-Zerstörer "USS Carney" abgeschossen worden. Die Drohnen hätten sich "in der Nähe" des Kriegsschiffes befunden.
BAG verhandelt über Kündigung von Schwangerschaftsberaterin nach Kirchenaustritt

UNO: Hälfte aller Gebäude im Gazastreifen zerstört - Im Prinzip "unbewohnbar"
Im Krieg Israels gegen die radikalislamische Palästinenserorganisation Hamas sind nach UN-Angaben etwa die Hälfte aller Gebäude im Gazastreifen beschädigt oder zerstört worden. Das palästinensische Gebiet sei nun praktisch "unbewohnbar", hieß es in einem am Mittwoch veröffentlichten Bericht der UN-Konferenz für Handel und Entwicklung (UNCTAD). Für den Bericht wurden unter anderem hochauflösende Satellitendaten ausgewertet und mit Aufnahmen von vor dem 7. Oktober verglichen, dem Tag des Hamas-Großangriffs auf Israel.
Baerbock macht Geld für UNRWA von weiteren Untersuchungen abhängig

Geldstrafe für mutmaßlichen Reichsbürger wegen Staatsverunglimpfung in Düsseldorf
Ein mutmaßlicher Reichsbürger ist vom Landgericht Düsseldorf wegen Verunglimpfung des Staats und Beleidigung zu einer Geldstrafe verurteilt worden. Die Kammer entschied, dass der 52-jährige Angeklagte 3200 Euro zahlen muss, wie eine Gerichtssprecherin am Mittwoch sagte. Das Urteil ist bereits rechtskräftig. Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns Klimastiftung muss Schenkungssteuer für Nord-Stream-Geld zahlen
Die Stiftung Klima- und Umweltschutz Mecklenburg-Vorpommern muss rund zehn Millionen Euro an Schenkungssteuer zahlen. Das entschied das Landesfinanzgericht in Greifswald am Mittwoch, wie das Finanzministerium in Schwerin mitteilte. Die Steuer wird demnach aufgrund einer Zuwendung von 20 Millionen Euro der russisch dominierten Nord Stream 2 AG fällig.
UNO: Rund acht Millionen Vertriebene durch Kämpfe im Sudan
Wegen der seit Monaten andauernden Kämpfe im Sudan sind rund acht Millionen Menschen auf der Flucht. Dies sagte UN-Flüchtlingskommissar Filippo Grandi am Mittwoch bei einem Besuch im benachbarten Äthiopien. Er rief zu "dringend benötigter und zusätzlicher Hilfe" für die Vertriebenen auf.
