Tschechiens Präsident Petr Pavel hat die baldige Lieferung von 800.000 Schuss Artilleriemunition an die Ukraine angekündigt. "Wenn es keine grundsätzlichen Probleme gibt, könnte die Munition die Ukraine innerhalb einiger Wochen erreichen", sagte Pavel vor Journalisten am Donnerstag. Drei Tote bei Huthi-Angriff auf Schiff im Golf von Aden
Bei einem Raketenangriff der jemenitischen Huthi-Miliz auf ein Handelsschiff im Golf von Aden sind nach US-Angaben drei Menschen getötet worden. Wie das für den Nahen Osten zuständige US-Zentralkommando (Centcom) mitteilte, wurde am Mittwochmorgen eine ballistische Anti-Schiffsrakete aus Richtung der von den Huthis kontrollierten Gebieten auf den Frachter abgefeuert. Die Besatzung habe drei Tote und mindestens vier Verletzte gemeldet, hieß es weiter. Bei dem Vorfall handelte es sich offenbar um den ersten Huthi-Angriff mit Todesopfern.
