Hisbollah-Kämpfer und zwei Kinder bei israelischen Angriffen im Südlibanon getötet
Bei israelischen Luftangriffen sind am Freitag zwei Ortschaften im Süden des Libanon getroffen worden. Nach Angaben der islamistischen Hisbollah-Miliz wurde dabei einer ihrer Kämpfer getötet, staatlichen Medien zufolge wurden zudem zwei syrische Kinder getötet.

Bei ihrer Offensive in der Region Charkiw im Nordosten der Ukraine haben die russischen Truppen nach Angaben der Behörden ihre Angriffe auf die Stadt Wowtschansk verstärkt. Die russische Armee habe damit begonnen, Wowtschansk "mit Panzern und Artillerie zu zerstören", sagte Regionalgouverneur Oleh Synegubow am Freitag. "Es ist nicht nur gefährlich, sondern unmöglich, sich dort aufzuhalten." Russland meldete derweil massive ukrainische Drohnenangriffe, bei denen eine Mutter und ihr Kind getötet worden seien.

Der mutmaßliche Schütze trug demnach eine schusssichere Weste und einen Helm.

Ausfuhren von Kleinwaffen aus Deutschland 2023 weiter gestiegen
Der Export von so genannten Kleinwaffen wie Pistolen und leichten Maschinengewehren ist im vergangenen Jahr weiter gestiegen. Bundesländer fordern Ausbau deutsch-polnischer Begegnungen

Oberverwaltungsgericht verurteilt Bundesregierung zu Nachbesserung bei Klimaschutz

Die Arabische Liga hat auf ihrem Gipfeltreffen in Bahrain den Einsatz von UN-Friedenstruppen in den palästinensischen Gebieten gefordert. Erneut Geldstrafe für Lastwagenfahrer nach Angriff auf Klimaschützer in Stralsund
Nach einer Auseinandersetzung mit zwei Klimaschutzdemonstranten hat das Landgericht Stralsund einen 42-jährigen Lastwagenfahrer wegen zweifacher versuchter Nötigung zu einer Geldstrafe von 1800 Euro und vier Monate Führerscheinentzug verurteilt. Die Entscheidung fiel am Donnerstag. Der Angeklagte hatte im Juli 2023 in der Stadt in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern versucht, die beiden Aktivisten der Gruppe Letze Generation, die sich an einer Ampel vor sein Fahrzeug gesetzt hatten, von der Straße zu zerren.
Steuerschätzung: Einnahmen 2025 um 21,9 Milliarden Euro niedriger
Die Steuereinnahmen von Bund, Ländern und Gemeinden dürften im kommenden Jahr um 21,9 Milliarden Euro niedriger ausfallen als bisher vorhergesagt. Das geht aus der Frühjahrsprognose des Arbeitskreises Steuerschätzung hervor, die das Bundesfinanzministerium am Donnerstag in Berlin bekanntgab. Davon entfallen 15,5 Milliarden Euro Mindereinnahmen auf Schätzabweichungen im Vergleich zur Prognose vom vergangenen Herbst, der Rest auf seither erfolgte Steuerrechtsänderungen.
